Repsol Honda's Casey Stoner has blasted his home circuit of Phillip Island saying it is so bumpy he is scared in some places and that he lost the front into the super-fast last corner during the first MotoGP free practice session this morning.

The world champion-in-waiting says that even though he set the pace in both sessions, he didn't feel comfortable and lost the front going into Honda Corner but escaped unhurt.

"This year the track is terrible. It's always been a little bit bumpy in turn one and couple of the others had bumps but this year they are a lot more aggressive. I'm not too happy with the condition of the track. I don't know what they have been racing around here but it has made the track a lot worse," said Stoner, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

"I lost the front into the last corner this morning, also turn six there's a lot more bumps, Lukey Heights used to be smooth but now there's a bump there. It's almost like they have been driving Formula One around here. Really close to the kerb we are ok, so it is definitely cars that have done it.

"You can't go into the corner, go wide and come back in again to go for the exit because you go out there and hit the bumps and lose a lot of time so it's a little bit tricky to ride at the moment. We will have to see when they're planning on re-surfacing, it's a little scary."
